Building and apartment: Well located building, 3-4 steps from the street level to get to elevator and then elevator straight to apartment. True to pictures, apartment is large, spacious, sparkling clean, and a very well equipped kitchen. The dining/ksee more
Building and apartment: Well located building, 3-4 steps from the street level to get to elevator and then elevator straight to apartment. True to pictures, apartment is large, spacious, sparkling clean, and a very well equipped kitchen. The dining/kitchen and living area was perfect for our family to hang out in and do breakfasts together etc. Great to have 4 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms. The 'all-glass' bathrooms seemed a bit awkward in pictures, but worked out just fine Location: Nice area with some very nice 'local'/upmarket restaurants/stores right below - including a very nice sandwich shop just downstairs. It was a 5 min walk to the nearest Pingo Doce supermarket which had everything. You can walk over a block to the main commercial walking street and then it's a ~20 min downhill walk to get to the happening Ribeira district. We did this a few times and it was a good way to explore. On the way back up, Ubers were surprisingly easy and cheap - under 5 euros per ride to get back which is great if you don't want to walk back uphill Hosts: Run very professionally by Feel Porto - they have an office nearby and a number of other properties they manage. Check-in host was there within 5 minutes of us calling, walked us through everything, made great recommendations on a map. Throughout our stay we were connceted on to the FeelPorto team and they were very responsive with anything we needed - including a last minute car reservation to Lisbon. Overall a great stay - not in the heart of the action in Ribeira but we enjoyed the convenience, large space, quiet location and easy access to evertyhing in Porto! Would highly recommend!
