The Sculptor José Rodrigues Foundation, in partnership with in-Libris Bookstore, has opened the doors to the exhibition Anima Sensualis, by Paulo Gaspar Ferreira and José Rodrigues, from November 16.
Until the end of the year, the exhibition reveals bodies intimacy – seen by Paulo Gaspar Ferreira through his camera; José Rodrigues, with a pen . Paulo Gaspar Ferreira was born in Oporto in 1964. He graduated in Visual Arts at the Soares dos Reis School of Decorative Arts and completed the course in Photography in the Technical School Studio of Photography of Oporto. He participated in several group and solo exhibitions, collaborated on the graphic design of various music CD´s and was a co-producer in several projects with the poets António Ramos Rosa, Carlos Tê (Penso Sujo, inspired in the oil spill caused by the sunken tanker "Prestige" in the Galicia coast) and other authors. He conceived and organized a series of lectures requested by the Portuguese Institute of Photography and developed several projects coordination printing and publishing, along with his work as a photographer. His work is represented in many private and institutional collections in Portugal, Spain, France, Brazil and the United States of America.
The exhibition can be visited from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00h.
