I love to preserve moments of my town. I was born in Porto in the sixties, in a very different town when compared with today. Photography is a powerful tool to preserve our identity and also the changes in the urban landscape.

A Great History!

The town is the centre and the people makes it live and breath. Porto is old and has beautiful places with incredible sights, narrow streets built over the older medieval streets and roads that make this town so unique. Porto history is amazing and older than many countries of today.

Analog?!

My bet on film seems crazy today but isn't. Film makes you think twice or more before shooting. The rolls limit the number of shots specially when I use those medium format old cameras used in these photos. The older is from 1954 and the newer is from 2000. Also you can't see the photo before developing the roll so it has to be well done or is a total failure. I love the feel of black and white and is magic developing myself the rolls of films and seeing the images getting out of the development tank. Really magic and very easy.
